Help · Using it
Once on a day you trained hard is what the trial protocols look like. There is no evidence in the pooled compression research that more sessions produce more benefit, and no manufacturer publishes a recommended frequency backed by data.

Evidence for more
NONE
Across the seventeen compression trials pooled in the 2024 meta-analysis, sessions were single, post-exercise, and twenty to thirty minutes long. That is the protocol the evidence describes. Nothing in the pooled set tested twice-daily use, and nothing tested whether a rest-day session does anything.
Judging it too early. The soreness benefit peaks around forty-eight hours — the 2017 massage meta-analysis put the effect at SMD −1.51 at 48 hours against −0.61 at 24. If you assess how your legs feel ten minutes after a session and conclude it did nothing, you measured at the wrong time.
Worth knowing
More is not established as better anywhere in this literature. That is worth holding onto in a category that sells hardware you could use all day.
