How we review

THE RULES

• Every specification comes from the brand's own product page. If a figure is not published there, the row reads not published — it never carries somebody's estimate.
• We never write studies show. A study is named with its authors, journal, year, sample size and the authors' own caveats, or the sentence is deleted.
• We never state or imply a claim beyond an FDA-cleared indication, and we never treat a clearance as evidence that something works.
• No first-hand claim is ever made. We have not used these devices. Where hands-on experience would change the answer, the page says the question is open.
• Lists are as long as the evidence, never padded to a round number.
• An honest assessment is never softened because a link earns a commission.

WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

We do not run a takedown register. Every product here is a competent piece of hardware made by a serious company, and writing otherwise for engagement would be dishonest. What we will do is say plainly when two products are the same, when a cheaper one is the better buy, and when the specification you need in order to choose is one the manufacturer has not published.

That last case comes up constantly. It is the reason this site exists.

COMMISSION

Links to manufacturer pages may earn CryoFreezeOH a commission. That does not change which product a page recommends, and several pages here recommend the cheaper option or tell you the upgrade is not worth it. Where the honest answer costs us money, the honest answer is what gets written.

CORRECTIONS

Prices and specifications change. Every figure on this site was read off the manufacturer's page on the date shown in the source notes, and figures that later turn out wrong get corrected rather than quietly edited. If you find one, it is worth telling us.
