Therabody publishes a one-year limited warranty on every product we checked. Hyperice publishes no warranty term on any product page we checked. That asymmetry is worth knowing before you spend $1,099.

THE DIFFERENCE

Every Therabody product page documented on this site states a one-year limited warranty — Theragun, JetBoots, TheraFace, SmartGoggles, WaveRoller, RecoveryTherm. It is stated plainly and consistently.

No Hyperice product page we read stated a warranty term. Not the $1,099 Normatec Elite Legs, not the $1,549 Normatec 3 Full Body, not the Hypervolt line, not Venom, not Hyperice X. A warranty may well exist in their terms of sale; it is simply not on the product page where a buyer would look for it.

Worth knowing

This is a documentation observation, not an accusation. Hyperice makes serious hardware and almost certainly warrants it. But on the page where you decide to spend four figures, one brand tells you and the other does not.

WHAT TO DO

Keep the proof of purchase. Every warranty claim starts there.
Register the product if the brand offers it — it is usually how they establish the purchase date.
Buy from the manufacturer or an authorised seller. Warranty coverage through marketplace resellers is frequently the thing that turns out not to exist.
Before buying a Hyperice product, ask their support what the term actually is, and keep the answer in writing.

BATTERIES

Battery degradation is the most common long-term complaint with any rechargeable device, and it is usually treated as wear rather than a defect. Neither brand publishes a cycle count or a capacity-retention figure for any product on this site, so there is no published basis for what counts as normal decline.
