THERAGUN COMPARISON CHART.

Nine models from $159.99 to $649.99 on one table, using only figures Therabody publishes. One of the nine, the Mini 2nd Gen, Therabody has since discontinued. Read down the runtime column before you read the price column — they do not move together, and that is the single most useful thing on this page.

Every figure is Therabody's own, read off its product pages. Where a cell reads not published, Therabody does not disclose it — any number you see quoted elsewhere for that cell is somebody's estimate. Amplitude and stall force are not published for any model, so they are not columns here.

What the chart shows

FOUR THINGS WORTH SEEING.

Observation 01

Battery does not track price

The $219.99 Mini G3 runs 150 minutes. So does the $649.99 PRO Plus. The $529.99 PRO runs 120 — exactly as long as the $159.99 Relief. If runtime is what you care about, price is not the signal.

Observation 02

The speed count goes missing at the top

Therabody publishes a speed count for the Relief, both Minis with a number, the Prime, Prime Plus, Sense and PRO Plus. It does not publish one for the $529.99 PRO or the $279.99 Mini Plus. The two models where the figure is absent are not the cheap ones.

Observation 03

Only the Minis publish a percussion rate

1750, 2100 and 2400 PPM, on both generations of Mini and nowhere else in the range. Every other model, up to $649.99, describes speeds without saying how fast they are.

Observation 04

Weight is published in three different units

Pounds for the PRO, PRO Plus and Relief. Ounces for the Prime, Prime Plus, Sense and Mini Plus. Kilograms for the Minis. Comparing them means converting them, which is why the Mini Plus at 31.2 oz reads as small until you notice that is the same as the full-size Prime Plus.

Reading it

HOW TO USE THIS.

If you want cheapest that works

Theragun Relief · $159.99

Three speeds, 120 minutes, three attachments. The same runtime as the PRO at less than a third of the price.

If it travels

Theragun Mini G3 · $219.99

0.40 kg, 150 minutes — the longest runtime in the line — and the only Theragun whose percussion rate you can actually check.

If you want everything

Theragun PRO Plus · $649.99

Seven attachments, 150 minutes, a screen and a heart-rate reader. It is also 3.6 lb, which is nearly twice the Prime Plus, and that is the figure to weigh against the price.
